Tak lama setelah memunculkan produk barunya nokia c2-03 , nokia memunculkan ponsel terbarunya dengan operasi sistem terbaru yaitu Symbian Belle . mungkin sedikit penjelasan di bawah ini .

Symbian OS adalah sistem operasi tak bebas yang dikembangkan oleh Symbian Ltd. yang dirancang untuk digunakan peralatan bergerak (mobile).

Sebelum Nokia mengumumkan pembelian seluruh sisa saham Symbian Ltd. yang tidak dimilikinya pada 24 Juni 2008, Symbian dimiliki Nokia (47,9%), Ericsson (15,6%), Panasonic (10,5%), Samsung (4,5%), Siemens/BenQ (8,4%), Sony Ericsson (13,1%). Versi Symbian yang terbaru adalah Symbian ^3 dengan PR 02 yang disebut symbian belle. Sedangkan ponsel yang paling banyak beredar saat ini menggunakan Symbian OS v6.1s, v7.0s, RV 47 75, v8.OS,v9.1s dan s60 v5.

Nokia Nseries rata-rata menggunakan Symbian OS v9.1s, kecuali Nokia N95 yang menggunakan Symbian OS v9.2s. Ponsel symbian s60 v5 dan symbian ^3 rata rata menggunakan layar sentuh kecuali nokia e6-00 dan nokia e7.ponsel symbian ^3 yang pertama meluncur aadalah nokia n8 dengan kamera 12 megapiksel.symbian ^3 mendapat pembaruan pertama yang disebut symbian anna. digunakan di ponsel nokia x7-00 dan e6-00. sedangkan pembaruan terbaru disebut symbian belle. semua ponsel symbian ^3 bisa diupgrade ke symbian belle.

Sekarang keseluruhan saham di symbian limited telah dimiliki oleh nokia dan posisi sistem operasi symbian sebagai penguasa pasar sistem operasi bergerak telah direbut oleh sistem operasi buatan google yaitu sistem operasi android yang meluncur di akhir tahun 2009 dengan ponsel pertamanya htc dreaam g1.vendor ponsel seperti samsung,lg,sony ericsson sekarang tidak laagi menggunakan sistem oprasi symbian dan menyatakan berhenti mendukung sistem operasi ini.

Seiring dengan diungkapnya sistem operasi Symbian Belle, Nokia juga memperkenalkan ponsel terbarunya Nokia 600, Nokia 700, dan Nokia 701. Ketiganya akan memulai debutnya dengan sistem operasi terbaru Symbian Belle yang diklaim akan menyediakan pengalaman yang paling kompetitif, mulus dan intuitif dari pengalaman Symbian sejauh ini.

Nokia 600

Dibanding kedua ponsel lainnya, Nokia 600 bisa dibilang merupakan yang termurah. Ponsel ini hadir dengan layar sentuh TFT kapasitif berukuran 3.2 inchi dengan resolusi nHD (360 x 640 piksel), prosesor 1 GHz, dan kamera 5 MP fixed-focus dengan LED flash berkemampuan merekam video 720p, memori internal berkapasitas 2 GB dan slot kartu microSD.

 

Ditilik dari fitur konektivitas yang dibawanya, Nokia 600 terbilang cukup istimewa dengan sokongan penta-band 3G dengan HSPA (14Mbps HSDPA dan 5.7Mbps HSUPA), quad-band GSM, Bluetooth 3.0, kemampuan NFC, Wi-Fi b/g, GPS dengan A-GPS, FM radio dan audio jack 3.5mm.

Kehadiran Nokia 600 juga akan dipermanis dengan adanya game Angry Birds dan Fruit Ninja versi NFC. Ponsel ini akan diharapkan akan hadir pada kuartal tiga (Q3) 2011 dengan beberapa pilihan warna, yakni hitam, putih, pink dan lime colors.

Ponsel ini diklaim pihak Nokia sebagai smartphone paling kompak dan ramah lingkungan hingga saat ini. Dan sedianya, Nokia 700 bakal hadir dengan layar nHD 3.2 inchi ClearBlack AMOLED, prosesor 1 GHz, kamera 5 MP fixed-focus dengan LED Flash dan berkemampuan merekam video 720p, memori internal berkapasitas 2 GB dan slot kartu microSD.   

Fitur konektivitas yang dibawa Nokia 700 juga cukup mengesankan dengan sokongan quad-band GSM and penta-band 3G dengan HSPA, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC capabilities, Wi-Fi b/g, GPS with A-GPS, FM radio, dan audio jack 3.5 mm.

Ponsel ini juga diperkirakan bakal hadir pada Q3 tahun ini dengan beberapa varian warna, seperti Cool Grey, Silver/White, Coral Red, Peacock Blue, dan Purple.

Ponsel ini akan hadir dengan layar ClearBlack LED-backlit IPS TFT nHD, prosesor 1GHz, kamera 8 megapixel fixed-focus dengan dual-LED flash dan memiliki kemampuan merekam video 720p, kamera depan untuk video-call, active noise cancellation, memori internal berkapasitas 8 GB yang dapat diperluas via slot kartu microSD.
